Hi Phil and welcome

Can you tell us a bit about your Type 3c diagnosis.... ie surgery and/or pancreatitis/cancer.
How is your diabetes currently controlled? Ie are you on any medication? How long have you been |Type 3c and are you under a hospital diabetes team or your GP for treatment?
I am not sure what, if any, dietary restrictions are necessary with Type 3c. Generally a lower carb diet will help to reduce BG(Blood Glucose) levels and some exercise or activity if you are able. A brisk daily walk is as good as anything if you can manage that. If your pancreas is totally shot or completely removed then you will need to inject insulin, but some Type 3cs can manage for quite a few years before they need insulin, so it really all depends on your particular situation and what you are already using to try to manage your BG levels.

Welcome to the forum @Phil45

We have a fair few friendly and knowledgeable Type 3cs on the forum, @eggyg is our regular 3c guru, plus other with varying related conditions who count themselves as ‘creonistas’ 🙂

Is there anything in particular you have been struggling with recently?

How long have you been diagnosed?
