Analysing changes to DNA in the blood can improve the ability to predict a person’s risk of developing type 2 diabetes within a decade.

 
Or alternatively we could just test fasting insulin or c-peptide...
 
I was describing to my GPs how carbs made me feel, how I reacted to them for decades and was told it was all in my head or just scoffed at - we know that there is something not right - it is the people who think that they know better who need to be tested and put right.

GP's/Quacks People that know a little about a lot and not a lot about a thing!(Subject like what you found)
whereas a specialist knows not a lot about anything but a lot about a thing! (there chosen field)
I find Carbs like rice/pasta blow my stomach right up and make me feel unwell
