A COLLEAGUE was telling me recently about how they?ve had to chase referrals, appointments and seek out information at every stage of care for a member of their family.
Her main observation was that each of the members of staff she?d spoken to knew there were problems in the system ? but didn?t feel they had the skills, authority or responsibility to do anything about them.
Changing this belief is at the heart of the recently launched Improving Quality Together framework.
