Since I've been on my pump I've been waking up between 5.30 and 6.30 am wide awake. Alot different to previous walking up and feeling like I hadn't slept, and really struggling to get up. Great in the week when I got work but thought I would enjoy a sleep in on the weekends, I was wrong lol.

What's your bloods doing at that time?

Lol...latterly in my pre pump years when the DP was bad I could wake up with a BG of anything between 5 (wow, lucky day!!) & more typically nearer 25 (if I didn't wake myself up for a corrective shot early am). Getting the basal rate right on the pump was a light bulb moment - waking up thinking - "wow - this is how 'normal' people feel in the morning?!" :D

Things for me are a bit haywire at the mo with illness etc & I really need to do some quality basal testing to tweak things in case that is part of the problem...looking forward to the good nights afterwards (fingers crossed!!!) 🙂

normal people wake up I thought yep. 🙂
