I presume it's about how building design affects our auto-immune system:

'Architecture critic Tom Dyckhoff explores the impact the design of buildings can have on us - on our identity and self-esteem, and on relationships, our chances at school, and even our weight and immune system'. So there you go it's not our fault we are overweight it's the house we live in!😱

Personally I shall give it a wide berth, he's an architecture critic for the Times, critics are usually people who can't do the subject they criticise. No doubt he knows f.all about diabetes and no matter how hard I try to pronounce it, his name says it all.

i could not stop laughing reading your reply

I've probably missed the programme by now. It seems funny that there are so many with diabetes in the building I work in and most didn't devlope it until AFTER they came to work here...

The classic case was supposed to be the Whitehall building which housed the Ministry of Education in the 1990s - Elizabeth House(?). Innumerable civil servants working there were alleged to suffer ill-health and it was said to have claimed a couple of Government Ministers, including a rising star in the Tory Party, John Patten. He was dogged by ill-health when appointed Minister of Education and had to retire from politics aged 42.

SBS (Sick Building Syndrome) is well attested ...
it is mainly about the quality of the indoor air ...

Yeah, I saw this trailer, and it left me a little bit  as to the connection, between buildings and BG monitor.

Going to give it a watch, as it looks really interesting.

the program is tonight 01 08 11 at 8 pm

If it follows the usual pattern for documentaries it will have about 10 minutes content padded out with presenters mincing up and down telling us what will be happening later, what just happened, then reminding us what we will see later... endlessly and repetitively and before and after every ad break until I just want to scream in bored despair. Best thing is to record it and wizz through the mincing up and down repeating bits and see if there was any content worth attention. If it has blarting music that comes on every time a presenter isn't enjoying the sound of his or her own voice that is just the icing on the cake !

You would never guess that the hot weather makes me grumpy would you

sick building syndrome old news ....was being looked into 30years ago when i studied architecture ...it takes a long time for things to filter through 🙄

it was interesting but they did not say what time was doing the blood sugar test especially in the morning when he was high and when i was pregnant i was 9.4 and i am not diabetic and i think the stress take a big part on your sugars with or without light
