So I have no idea what's going wrong here... I've had a libre sensor for a while now but I've had the same phone the whole time and now, for the first time in 6 years, i have a new one.

I've been completely unable to get the new phone to acknowledge the sensor is even there, which has forced me to keep carrying my old phone to enable me to test - as a result, I'm barely testing and my control is in the toilet.

  • Phone is Galaxy 20+
  • Bluetooth and NFC turned on
  • Tried logging out of the app on my old phone before logging in again on the new one
  • Tried logging in and using a brand new sensor
I really don't know what to do but it's making me miserable, so any help is appreciated

I use a Samsung Note 10, so a similar phone to yours.

If you cannot start a new sensor with your phone that sounds like an NFC issue.

Have you tested to make sure NFC is working properly with other devices?

  1. You could try pairing with NFC headphones or speakers
  2. At a shop you could open Google pay on your phone and swipe the checkout. If it connects it will ask you for more details and you hit cancel.
  3. You could use an app like 'NFC Check' available on the play store (see below)

Also check and make sure the permissions are set for the Libre link app to work properly (again see below)

Good luck
