Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hello new to this forum but an old hand with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes. However following my last annual review in August 2018 HBA1C at 90 apparently my results have been similar for years and taking 9 tablets daily. A rollicking from the diabetic nurse has resulted in a new man. A much reduced carb diet and a lot less on my plate together with exercise 3 or 4 times a week in the gym and ballroom dancing lessons. Since August I have lost 46 pound in weight and just over a week ago another A1C showed my results to be down to 51 and over that period I have reduced my medication to two metformin a day and my next target is to drop both of those in the next couple of months. It is hard but It can be done.

Hi @Cheshireguy, welcome to the forum 🙂 Well done on your efforts to bring your diabetes under control - they've obviously been well-rewarded! Keep up the good work, and if we can help in any way, please let us know 🙂

Welcome @Cheshireguy, you have certaOnly taken the bull by the horns and worked hard on this already.
Well done.
