Has anyone else been asked to contribute replies to this? I received this from the DRN which I signed up to last year. Some of the questions are a bit basic, but there is room to add comments later - we are such a good resource, we should respond!
Dear Diabetes Research Supporter,
An exciting new non-invasive wireless glucose monitoring system is being developed by MediWiSe, a UK based patient solutions company. This system has the potential to completely revolutionise the way that people with diabetes monitor their blood glucose levels by enabling them to take readings as often as they want without having to take blood.
To ensure that the system meets the needs of people with type 1 diabetes, the user is at the centre of the design process. To accomplish this MediWiSe is working with one of the UK's top design schools, Loughborough Design School at Loughborough University. Part of this work is an on-line survey to gather information on the monitoring requirements of people with type 1 diabetes and parents of children with type 1 diabetes.
By completing a survey you will help shape the future of this product by contributing valuable data on what you want in an ideal blood glucose monitoring system, including; how and when you want to take measurements, what you want the monitor to look like and how you want it to communicate with you. For more information on this study please find attached a Participant Information Sheet, if you are interested in taking part the links below will take you to the relevant on-line survey.
