Hi and welcome.

Would you like to tell us a bit about yourself and your diabetes?
Thinks like....
How long you have been diagnosed and how that came about?
Your HbA1c result.... this is the blood test used to diagnose and monitor your journey with diabetes. It will usually be a number in excess of 47 but can be into 3 figures if things have gone a bit too haywire. It gives us an idea of where you are with your diabetes.
What, if any medication you have been prescribed for it?
What if any dietary/lifestyle changes you have made?
If you gave much/any weight to lose?

Obviously, you don't need to answer any of those questions if you don't feel comfortable doing so.

Also, most importantly.....

How can we help you? Please feel free to ask any questions you have. There might be more than one answer and they might all be correct for the individuals posting them. The important thing is to figure out what is the correct answer for you and your body and your lifestyle and your diabetes, because it can be quite individual and this is probably why there is so much confusion over what is good/OK to eat and what is not, especially when you Google.
Hopefully we can help you find what works for you.

Welcome to the forum @tracey jefkins

Tell us a bit more about yourself, and your diabetes.

We are a friendly bunch and we have centuries of lived diabetes between us - so ask away with any questions and the chances are someone here will have an experience to share. 🙂
