Hi everyone, can anyone tell me if there is a support group in the Watford, Hertfordshire area?

Welcome to the forum @McGeown

You can use this page to look for local support groups

Though current restrictions mean that many local groups are not able, (or choosing) to meet face to face for the time being.

We also have a virtual forum meet on the second Sunday of the month - so next Sunday 11th Oct at 3pm via Zoom.

Add your name to this thread if you’d like to be sent the meetinglog-in details 🙂

Hi my name is Mick, I was diagnosed with Type 2 about 3 years ago. My initial level was at 9, on my last blood test a year ago it was down to just over 6. Due to the COVID problems I haven’t been tested this year (due in August). I am pretty sure that it has gone up but who knows when I will find out. I am in the obese category and am about a stone heavier than September last year. I am determined that it plus more will disappear with the help of others, although I know it is down to me.I look forward to contacting others for help and support.

Hello and welcome to the forum @McGeown 🙂

Hello @everydayupsanddowns
Please can I be added to the next virtual forum? I am 57 years old and was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes back in February just before lockdown. I feel really left behind and am doing everything I can to try and teach myself about this illness.
I can barely use my phone as I’m pretty old school but my daughter thinks a virtual support group would help me. Plwase can you private message me details thanks Tom
