Hi welcome to the forum 🙂 xx

Hi. I'm guessing you are in the North East with that member name.... I'm just a bit further south in County Durham, so welcome from just over the county line.
Tell us a bit more about yourself and your circumstances... ie how you were diagnosed, if you are the primary diabetic or a carer, what the initial HbA1c reading was etc. Knowing that means you have a goal to work at to reduce it. Do you have weight loss goals too? What are the biggest challenges you anticipate.... I was a sugar addict before my diagnosis, but cracking it was easier than I expected although I fear it would be easy to slide back down that road if I am not careful. Cutting the starchy carbs has proved more difficult but I am getting the hang of it.
Hope to learn more about you and perhaps help or support you if I am able.... it has been a real rollercoaster ride so far for me, but the other members here have been great. I hope you find the forum similarly beneficial.
