Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
Hi Guys,

I've never been a member of forums before just tend to follow pages on facebook and stuff so it might take a while to get used to.

I am 23 and was diagnosed when I was 6 and I've had my ups and downs but its never held me back. Now I'm at uni I have been concentrating on trying to give something back so I'm looking at the psychological effects of Diabetes.

My current project is looking at patient views about Diabetes care when things go wrong. If anybody doesn't mind you could fill it out as long as you are type 1 and over 18, its at (link removed pending approval)

On a personal level I struggle with trying to keep my blood sugars correct (between 7-8) and trying to not have so much insulin that my appetite and weight are going crazy, I've put nearly 3 stone on in 4months!

Anyway thats me, nice to be here =)

Hi TSFD, welcome to the forum 🙂 I'm sorry, but I've had to remove your link as we need confirmation of Ethics Committee approval before allowing research surveys. Apologies if this seems heavy-handed.

p.s. You can contact me using the 'Contact' link at the top of the screen 🙂
