Me too, well three months ago. Welcome to the forum and all its knowledgeable members. Enjoy.

Hi and welcome.

Would you like to tell us a bit about how you came to be diagnosed and what if any medication you have been given?

If you have any questions and I am sure you are bound to because we all know how overwhelming it all is at diagnosis, feel free to ask.

Welcome to the forum @Ginxy1

And welcome to the club no one wants to join!

Do you have diabetes in the family? Has your diagnosis come out of the blue, or is it something that has been building up for some time?

Have you been given any medication to start with? Or are you trying to manage your BG levels with diet and exercise to start with? Can you remember your HbA1c (this will be a number above 48mmol/mol, but may have been quite a bit higher)

Fire away with any questions you have - nothing will be considered too obvious or ‘silly’… or simply use the forum as a safe and friendly space to offload and vent with any worries or frustrations. Folks here instinctively ‘get it’.
