As I can't tolerate any of the general medications my doctor has put me on a new drug called Jardiance - empagliflozin. It seems to have a lot of nasty side effects. Has anyone else had experience of this medication.?

I used it and for me it caused DKA within a week which is a side effect but a rare one, so unlikely to affect you. It’s more likely in those who take insulin I think. I think things like UTIs are more common. There are people on the forum who take it but I can’t think who right now.

I've been taking it for a while now with no side effects.
