MEDICS will be able to detect and treat diseases better and more quickly thanks to a new machine.
County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust has installed a new fluoroscopy unit in its radiology department at University Hospital of North Durham.
The equipment allows radiologists to carry out diagnostic and interventional work.
?The new fluoroscopy unit is outstanding,? said consultant interventional radiologist Dr Stuart Marsden. ?It really does make a big difference to the work we do.
