Hello, been using an Accu-chek lancing device for years that uses Multiclix lances on my repeat prescription. As this has been discontinued and my device is worse for wear, what device is available and not silly money?
Thank you for any help you give.

They are on the NHS Drug Tariff so you may be able to persuade your GP to prescribe them....
I’ve been using the FastClix for a few years now, I think they are absolutely great
I never realised the cartridges of lancetts might be available on prescription, but then again having recieved (with the original order) a box of 204 it will be quite a while before I need to order

 I know! and 204 lancets sounds such a ridiculous amount to pack into a box at first glance if folk don't realise they come in 'cartridges' containing 6 lancets hence there are 64 of the 'cartridges' in every box and 64 is such a weird number in a box as well - the whole palaver sounds completely batty - until you know!! 😉😉😉

You’ve have to get the multiclix changed for the fast clix on your prescription I think @Gary S

The cartridges look quite similar, but they won’t fit in the other device.

You can still get Multiclix device & lances on likes of eBay but they are expensive, very expensive.

Fastclix works just fine but admittedly not as good as Multiclix.

Slightly less robust maybe, but there again, so are the modern versions of most things. Just not quite that same solid feeling of the original is all. Nothing plastic is!!
