Hi and welcome to the forum 🙂
xx

Hi welcome to the forum. What a Birthday present you had.
How are you finding your Libre, I love mine (well most if the time I do lol)

Welcome to the forum @Kindly Viking . Not an ideal birthday gift!!!

I was a bit of later starter being diagnosed with T1 at the age of 53. So much to learn so quickly but it is now just part of my new normal life. It doesn’t stop me diong anything it just takes a bit of organisation and planning now.

I have learnt so much from others on here over the years. Fire away with any questions that you have. Nothing is considered silly on here. Just ask.

Welcome to the forum Lox 🙂

I got diabetes as my 21st birthday present (a few years ago now!) and it really is the gift that keeps on giving! o_O

How do you manage with your needle phobia? Do you use shielded needles? Or have you moved onto an insulin pump to reduce needle frequency?

Hope Libre is suiting you well 🙂

Welcome aboard, Lox - needle phobia must be a real challenge for you :(

Thankfully, I have always been the opposite! When a nurse said 'Look away', I wanted to watch and see what was happening LOL. Even so, after all these years of life 'at the sharp end', I'm very happy to have progressed from 12mm needles to 4mm now ... hardly feel them.

Also love my Libre (usually) but I prefer it when the graphs look more like Norfolk and less like the Himalayas LOL.
