Hi! I had been diabetic type 2 for 3 years now my hba1c came back high to 66 and three months ago 57 - i’m on metformin, will i be having another Diabetic tablet to control this? Please advise..

Could it be that your diet has slipped and you are having more carbohydrates. However sometimes people do become more intolerant of carbohydrates and have to reduce their intake. That would be what I would look at rather that needing to add more medication. Obviously if that does not work then additional medication might be needed but diet should be the first option.
If you give some examples of the meals you have then people can make some suggestion on where you might make some savings on the amount of carbs you are having.
The other strategy would be to monitor the effect of your meals on your levels with a home blood glucose monitor as it would suggest that the increase in HbA1C is due to your meals being to carb heavy for you to tolerate. Metformin is not a magic bullet and will only help but dietary changes are also needed.
 
Welcome @Chijan 🙂 I agree with @Leadinglights Has your diet changes at all? Or your routine - eg taking less exercise? Could you adjust your diet slightly and see if that helps first?
