Hi All,

New here although I have been type 1 for 22 years - a 40th birthday present to my self, so that makes me 62. Like a lot of people I have been put on a Libre1 and and then switched to a 2 devise. I will be putting up a general question which I do not think fits in here.

Chris

Hi Chris and welcome from me too.
My diagnosis came the day after my birthday but had the blood sample taken the day before, so close enough to be a birthday present too although I had been symptomatic for a fortnight before so I had an idea of what my present was going to be. Thankfully I left it later in life still at 56yrs old and appreciate that I had been able to live the majority of my life (assuming I don't make it as far as 112) without the condition.

Which insulin(s) are you on and have you found the Libre a game changer?

Welcome to the forum @ChrisO2

I gave myself T1 for my 21st!

Hope you are getting on well with Libre 🙂

Welcome to the forum @Chris02, from another later starter.
I look forward to hearing how you get on with the Libre
