I'm new to this forum, but not to diabetes. Mine started as gestational, but never left. My son is now, nearly, 9 and I still don't feel in control.

Hi Jo and welcome. Glad to hear you're ready to take control and hopefully feel better too. Lots of help and advice on here.

Well done for deciding to tackle it. It must have been do hard dealing with a new baby and diabetes. Hopefully now your son is older and more independent you can focus a bit more on you. My hubby has joined me in low carbing as we generally eat together and he's lost 1/2 stone, his man belly and feels less bloated so it's a good diet change for the family.
