Hi just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Diana and i am mum to Robbie who is 14 and Type 1 he has been since he was 5 so we are not new at this game but i new to being on here as looking for some advice on choosing a new pump for him. I put my question in the pump section but thought i would add it in here just on the off chance. This will be his second pump and although our team are FAB normally they have just told use the choices available and have said the choice is up to us, they haven't really left us with any info. The choice are between the Animas Vibe and the Accu Check Insight. There is also the Medtronic, which is the one we are currently on but think we have already discounted this one, as the team no nothing about it and the software at the hospital is pretty pants. Any advice would be gratefully received. Hope you don't mind me asking in here, look forward to receiving your replies Diana xxx

Hi Diana, welcome to the forum 🙂 I believe we have members with all those varieties of pumps here, so hopefully they will be along to offer their thoughts. I'm not a pumper myself, so wouldn't know one from the other!

Hi Diane ! Like your son I have been since an early age T1. (I was 3 a long time ago) I love my pump & would kick up a right fuss if anyone tried to take it away. Nothings perfect but its the best at present 😉

Hi there, Diana, and welcome.🙂 Good luck choosing a new pump.
