Hi all,

New to the forum.

T1D diagnosed in 2015.

Looking for ways to reduce burnout and improve energy!

All the best

Welcome to the forum

Sorry to hear you have been wading through a period of burnout.

T1 can feel overwhelming and all consuming at times.

Are you on pens or a pump? Do you wear a sensor? And do you find that a helpful addition to your toolkit, or does it feel like a ‘Big Brother’ pressure or nag?

Thanks @everydayupsanddowns !

I'd say my burnout is fairly constant, with varying degrees of intensity, with some periods being less so and others more blue.

Pens, FreeStyle Libre 2. CGM single-handedly changed the game for me, but false alerts can be a bugbear as well as the latency. I find lows to be a big, local energy draw.
