Welcome to the forum
Sorry to hear you are struggling, how well is you blood glucose managed as if you have high levels it affects every cell in the body including the brain which can have impact on mood.
Would you like to say how you manage your condition, what medication you are taking and what dietary approach as in the years since you were diagnosed ideas have changed about how effective diet can be.
That doesn't mean you have to be ultra restrictive but making the right food choices will go a long way to bringing HbA1C down6

Welcome @Ronnie99 🙂 Is there a particular reason the diabetes is getting to you now, or is it just that you’ve had it so long? What meds are you on for it, if any?

I think because I have had it so long and it was not initially well managed. It is affecting my relationships as I’m having ED and affecting the way I think about the future. I’m using metformin and humulin70/30 insulin. It seems I’m having secondary Cutis verticis grata on my head scalp, but my doctor said it may or may not be due to my condition but I’m worried

My HbA1C is better at the last test from 59 to 53 to 47. I’m using humulin 70/30 insulin, metformin and atovastatin. Of recent my vitamin D is low and colcaciferol has been added. Diet has been a bit of struggle. Two hours after eating I still have between 10 to 11.5 mil reading, in the next two hour which is 4 hour after reading it may be two low (4 mol) some times

If you are taking insulin that really is a different ball game with diet. It looks like you have a mixed insulin which is less flexible than a basal /bolus regime as you need to eat a specific amount of carbs.
The criteria of looking at the level after 2 hours is more for those on diet only or only oral meds rather than insulin.
Maybe you should discuss with your nurse of GP about changing to a basal insulin taken once or twice a day depending and a bolus insulin which you take for your meals according to the amount of carbs you are going to have.

I had to Google that @Ronnie99 It sounds unpleasant and I can understand why you’re worrying about it. Have you seen a specialist?

With your Humulin 70/30, some people find they need a small carby snack between meals. Is that something you’ve tried to avoid being low before the next meal? 10/11 isn’t bad after a meal, but it depends how long it stays at that level.

You could request a change of insulin regime to see if that helps at all. Your HbA1C is good.

Welcome to the forum @Ronnie99

Sorry to hear your diabetes is getting to you at the moment. :(

I also wonder if a different system of insulin might suit you better. It would mean extra jabs in a day (4 or 5 rather than 2) but the difference in flexibility is huge!

On mixed insulin you are more or less tied to the schedule of your insulin action. It’s much harder to eat lighter meals, or skip a meal entirely (or even just delay it), because once the insulin is ‘in’ it’s clock starts ticking, and it needs to be fed the right amount of carbs at the right time.

Splitting your basal (background) insulin away from your bolus (meal) insulin means you can have meals of different sizes when you want them.

It’s a bit fiddlier, but it’s much more like a working pancreas would do, and lots of T2s here find it much better overall.

Thank you Mike, are you suggesting I take a dose of insulin whenever I want to have a meal instead of just having morning and night?

Of recent I started having burning sensation in my feet, I don't if you have had such experience before or heard about it. I'm really afraid and uncomfortable

Definitely NOT on your present insulin, read Mike's post again. You would need different insulins.

Thank you once again Mike, please what are the names of the insulin?
