If you would like to say a bit more about your diagnosis, what your HbA1C is and are you on any medication and if you need to lose weight that will all help people make appropriate suggestions. Are you getting any support and follow up from your GP, you should have a foot check and retinal eye screening at some point.

How did your diagnosis come about? Was it after a routine healthcare check, or had you been feeling symptoms for a while and decided to get things checked out?

It can feel a little overwhelming to begin with, but diabetes is a condition that can usually be managed well with a few tweaks and changes. Fire away with any questions you have, and perhaps consider registering with the Learning Zone (orange tab in the main menu) which is packed full of informative bite-sized modules that you can work through at your own pace 🙂
