Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
I’ve been living with Type 1 diabetes for several years and currently use the Loop system with Dexcom G7 and Omnipod. After a long time of struggling to stay in range, things have improved a lot thanks to tech, routine, and a more consistent approach to food and tracking.

I’m here to connect with others living with T1D, swap ideas, and keep learning. Whether it’s about tech, food, mindset, or just dealing with the everyday unpredictability, I’m glad to be part of the community.

Welcome @Carlrwebb 🙂 I have the G7 and it’s fantastic.I use a Dana i pump but don’t loop. There are a number of Omnipod users here though.

Hi there, and welcome! It’s great to have you here and brilliant to hear that things have improved for you! That’s a powerful setup, and it’s so encouraging to see how tech, consistency, and mindset can really turn things around.
It sounds like you’ve put in a lot of thought and effort to find what works for you, so would you mind sharing more about what’s helped - especially around routines, food tracking, or how you’ve adjusted your approach over time? We have a lot of newbies who struggle with these things and it's always interesting to hear what people have found to be particularly helpful to them, as we know how individual diabetes is for everyone.
Looking forward to learning from your experience about the ups, downs, and in-betweens of life with T1D. :star:
