Hi, I have T2 diabetes and was diagnosed 13 years ago, I suffer with depression and anxiety and when having a bad time with these my diabetic control is not good. I retired 6 years ago I used to walk to and fro to work but now I don’t walk anywhere as much it has affected my diabetes I do Pilates most days so not devoid of exercise. My biggest struggle is my relationship with food I am an emotional eater so when bored, depressed etc. I will binge eat and don’t care about the consequences also I am not a big fan of veggies so half a plateful of them isn’t appealing and I have always had a sweet tooth, I also lack willpower. My medication is Metformin SR (Sukarno) 100mg, Linagliptin 5mg and maybe soon to be put on Semaglutide. I might add when in the right frame of mind I can control the diabetes with medication and diet. Find that most of the time I feel overwhelmed.

Your sweet tooth may be satisfied by making some of the low carb cakes and biscuits on the website sugarfreelondoner.
