Hello. I'm new to this forum. I am type 1 and on an insulin pump. I have a accu-chek spirit combo. I love my pump and could never go back to mdi.

Hi there and welcome spirit, we have a few members who have been on pumps for abit and some who have not been on for that long, have yourself a look around the pumping section and also make yourself at home so to speak x

Hi spiritfree.

Welcome. Some real debates over pros and cons of pumping. I've never been offered one but who knows, one day.

Rob

Hi Spiritfree...welcome to the forum.

I've always wondered about the pumps. I've never been offered one (type 1 for 20 years) but I'm still undecided...one day perhaps!

I suffer from the dawn phenomenon. Pump was definitely the solution to this problem! My basal is twice as high in the eary hours.

Welcome, spiritfree! I've been on a pump for just over a year and find it hard work, but well worth it.
