Hi Kelly and welcome to the forum

Welcome Kelly from a T2.

Hello Kelly, and welcome 🙂
I know Newry well, or used to - I used to live in Rostrevor, on the shore of Carlingford Lough.

How are you getting on with the insulin pump, does it make a big difference? I am on the list to get one soon, hopefully.

Hello TheClockwork Dodo. There's a lot more work with carb counting and being on the one insulin. Not to mention the weight gain. But compared to doing 4 injections a day it is a lot easier. Just a case of doing more finger pricking. Good luck with the pump when you get it 🙂

Hi Kelly!
I lost weight when I got my pump because I didn’t need to feed insulin any more!

Thanks, Kelly 🙂
I am hoping it stops me having so many hypos - I'm very insulin-sensitive so being able to have fractions of a unit of insulin is the main appeal of a pump for me.
