Sorry if this has been posted already, but just in case anyone has missed it, the DVLA rules have changed as of the 1st January 2018 regarding Severe Hypoglycaemia. Only SH which occurs during waking hours is now counted in the 'no more than one episode of SH per year' tally.

Your license can also now be restored as soon as 3 months after your most recent episode of SH.

Also for cars you dont need to test on a machine that will keep readings for 90 days, though most meters do. Sadly no mention of interstitial tests, only blood glucose, but it is an improvement.

They are making progress with allowing sensor glucose and it will certainly come I think, but my understanding is that is significantly more complex as it requires a change in law, which has a lot more hoops to jump through.
