Having just been fitted with new dentures. Eating is new issue at present . How long does it take for normal service to be resumed.
The dentist didn't give any advice at all. Apart from plundering my bank account .
It's going to be challenging I guess , but would be interested if new denture wearers found dicffercult.

I don't wear dentures but my other half does and has had discomfort when they have been newly fitted but it is usually quite temporary, but if they are still uncomfortable after a couple of days or causing ulcers or sore places then you must go back as they may need a bit filing off.
Try soft foods, soups, jelly, so as not to put too much pressure on them.
