Hi MEGSDAD, welcome to the forum.

Glad you've been able to find us as there's lots of support on the site.

Were you given your HbA1c blood test results or your blood glucose readings using the finger prick device? It's really helpful to have this info so you can chart your progress and get to know how well your body is responding to the way you're managing diabetes.

Do let us know if there's anything we can help with or any questions you may have.

Hi there and welcome!

Welcome to the forum @MEGSDAD

Looks like you might be sharing horsey tips and experiences with @Robin 🙂

Hi @MEGSDAD and welcome to the forum. From the photo, I'd guess you are a farrier! There are a few equine lovers on here, I’m a once a week rider, @rebrascora has several horses of her own, and I'm sure there's someone else, but I can’t think who.

Me too. I'm also horsey!

A warm welcome from me also. Hope you find the forum as beneficial as I have over the past 2 years since diagnosis.
If you can tell us a bit about your diagnosis like how it came about, what if any medication you have been given and your HbA1c reading.... usually a number of 48 or more it helps us understand where you are starting your diabetes journey and how best to advise you.

Feel free to ask anything and we will do our best to give you the answers.

@Robin Thank foir the tag...., you just beat me to it. Yes I thought perhaps a farrier too.

Wondering if you might also be a beekeeper from your opening title "New Bee" ??, in which case we might have something else in common.... Spent the afternoon capturing and hiving a quite spectacular prime swarm today and despite it being a whopper from my double brood box hive, we spotted the queen (unmarked) as we walked them into their new hive.... If you are not a beekeeper, your eyes have probably glazed over by now, so apologies for that!

Now would be as good a time as any! Swarming season has been delayed a little with all that poor weather in April but certainly getting underway now. Not sure where you live but if you are North East area I would happily supply you with a swarm. Rehomed my second one yesterday but plenty more to come.
