I was diagnosed type2 a year ago - I'm on metformin and have worked hard at my diet. My HB1ACs have been all good: below 7.5 all of them since I started the medication.
But I'm worried - I've been testing myself and recently it's gone a bit high. I always used to be fine and suddenly it's like 11 one hour after eating or 8 first thing in the morning. What's going on? I'm going to the endocrinologist next month for a review but they always do my HB1AC after I see them (seems stupid to me) and just ask if I'm ok. I really want to control my blood - I'm 30 and don't want any complications later on. Any advice?
