Hi I'm new here.I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2009.
I now have Peripheral and Autonomic Neuropathy. My feet have been bad since 2012
I have an important question please., For a week now both my hands and alll fingers have become extremely painful and now feel just like my feet, tingling all the time but the tight painful feeling feels like they're stiffening up.When l put my palms together,it's impossible to straighten my fingers. My Blood Sugars this week are also jumping between 8.0 and 12.3 .This has all happened suddenly within a week and wondered if anyone else has any suggestions what l should do !!
I only see the practice nurse twice a year. I see the doctor the same, although at the moment l've got a really sore neck and headache on the right hand side, the GP said it looked like a trapped nerve and it would improve is say five days to a week. However it's three weeks now and I'm still having to sit up either in a chair all night or bed for a while.I can't move my head much or look up or down !!! and seem to do nothing but feel exhausted all the time. Now my hands have started to be so painful,l'm just not sure what to do .I take Metformin,Gliclazide and Ramapril for the Diabetes as well as other meds and Morpheme liquid , none are helping though.Any suggestions welcome ,please.
