Hello,
About a year ago i started off with a bruised to the touch feeling on the skin surface of my thigh. Mentioned it to my diabetic consultant who informed of possible nerve issue but it may also go away. It did lasting, for about a month then no issue.
Around 6 months later i got an electric rain sensation in the same spot, slightly painfull. Went to see the GP who prescribed a nerve numbing cream with garlic extract in it. Couldn't get it anywhere. No longer produced and not on any shelves of pharmacies i called.
Again it went within a while, 2 months approx.
Now, approx 6 months on, i'm getting a suface pain an also on occasion a tearing pain. It feels like skin tearing. Clearly its not but its painful.
The nerve surface pain is when i move after periods of short inactivity. The tearing pain is when i kneel down on the raised knee or push off the floor.
Anyone had experience of this?
Exercise, movement makes it go away but i only need to be still for a short time, eating dinner, watching TV, for it to come back.
Thanks,
