over nearly 2 weeks and finding out i was passing high levels of glucose in my urine and been told it was a possible UTI since then my BG levels have been very high to the point of hyperglycemia.

yesterday when i took another urine sample i then suddenly felt very dizzy and faint, luckily for me i am under the care of the district nurses and one came late yesterday evening and i mentioned about my BG levels, glucose and also now ketones.

on checking last night my BG was over 21 and after checking my records she has now kindly stepped in to help esp with nearly fainting.

she is going to talk with the doctors and sometime today bringing out a machine to see what the ketone levels are like.

over the last week i tired to inform the doctors that my BG levels were too high but like other things it was just left to the point of me nearly collapsing.

hopefully with the nurses on board things might start moving. the infection i had has cleared so that is something.

Hello @mikeydt1
Things are certainly very difficult for you, but good to know that you have got help from the district nurses.
Now that the infection has cleared, let hope that things get better for you soon.

Hi @mikeydt1 not good BGL`s hopefully nurse will help you get on top of your levels, I`m hoping your ketone level is stable, take care.

The nurse will help you out I’m sure.
Take care x
