Just finished swimming 🙄 and treated myself to a hot cross bun (was good and didn't add any spread); it was yummy but I know very naughty...😛

Well done , I hope you enjoyed it.

John.

You, more than most, deserve it! 🙂

Forgot to mention - have received my Diabetes UK running vest and sponsorship form for the Brum Fun Run in August - Will post my justgiving page on the 1st of each month...

Need to get my act in gear.....xx🙂

Terrific! 🙂

After a swim your muscles will be soaking up the glucose from the bun double time.........😉

Good for you, you've earned it, gain for some pain. After a swim session I have a muesli bar, which I admit is more appealing than a banana! but hey whatever floats your boat.

Keep it up😎

Good plan to have bun after swimming - unless you really need to lose weight.

As children, swimming meant a 30 miles round trip to nearest indoor pool in Tewkesbury. Then Mum would concentrate on one child, usually my younger sister, and try to chat up a lifeguard to lend us floats and keep an eye on me. Then, out of pool to walk through market to baker's shop to buy a doughnut each to eat beside River Severn and watch swans and ducks at weir. So, no surprise that we could both swim pretty well before we started school, and still love swimming, water sports, marine biology (last one me only) etc.
