I ran these 2 apps in parallel to calculate my bolus for a few weeks, and generally found that they gave comparable results, but from time to time MyLife gave a noticeably lower result. I couldn't see any obvious reason for this in the calculator settings. Any thoughts? One is free, and one is not

Are they tracking ‘insulin on board’ differently?

Are they attempting to steer you towards the same mid-range value? (or does one aim for edges of the range?)

Without knowing how each are set up it‘s impossible to know, but you might find the calculation method described with examples in the help documentation and be able to see what differences there are?
