Are you testing your blood glucose with a home monitor as that will help you see where where you are in terms of glucose levels.
If you have cut down on your intake of carbohydrates and not replaced them with more protein and healthy fats then that could be making you feel hungry. However if you are still having quite high carb meals then your pancreas could be overproducing insulin so you level is suddenly dropping low so making you feel hungry.
What are you having for your meals

Are you actually going low @Richard69 ? Hunger can be a sign of both low and high blood sugar - or simply normal hunger!

Sorry to hear you’ve been feeling extra hungry @Richard69

Sometimes when people‘s levels begin to come down having been high for a while the body can exhibit low-glucose symptoms when they are still in a healthy range (but are just lower than they have been recently).

As others have said, having a home monitor might help you understand your sensations and whether they are connected to your diabetes and glucose levels.

If you’d like to check your levels at home the most cost effective meters members here have found are SD GlucoNavii and the Spirit Tee2, which have strips at about £10 for a pot of 50
