My eyes hate me

Saw specialist today.* Eye pressure has gone back up. Been put on new medication which may have same side effects affecting my diabetes as the one I stopped on tuesday
First eye operation will be on December 15th* Operation on other eye will follow in new year.* No guarantee that the ops will be successful for the glaucoma problem so keeping mega fingers crossed. Also my first choice specialist can't operate on me because her operating hospital can't cater for type 1 diabetics😡

Sorry to hear of your continuing problems AJ - I was really hoping that things might have turned around after today's consultation. Let's hope the medication does its job without trying to affect things it shouldn't. I'm surprised that the hospital can't cater for Type 1s - surely they could call in a trained person to monitor your blood sugars/sliding scale? There again, what do I know? Try to stay positive, my dear - I know it must be very tough.
