Well what a pleasant surprise, I thought that I had not had to good a 6 months but very little change last HbAIc was 6.5% this time 6.4%.
Biggest surprise was Cholestral in spite of deciding to stop taking my statins it has dropped from 8 to 5. The only reason I can find for the drop is my breakfast every morning of oatmeal that is imported from USA.

Hi John well done on the hbA1c very good numbers.And what an amazing drop in cholesterol always nice when your pleasently surprised.
 
Can I swap my HbA1c of 5.9% and my Cholesterol of 7.1 mmol/L with yours?

Well done John - I can appreciate how good it feels to see your cholesterol drop in spite of stopping the statins, mine was 4.5 recently after stopping them last October. Great HbA1c too! 🙂
 
Thats great news John.

Just goes to show what most of us think about taking Statins!
 
good one John ...we HbA1c twinnies ...6.4 seems a popular number ...my cholesterol was 5.7 but going down... gp wants me under 5 !! good luck x
