Muscle Pain

Been experiencing terrible muscle pain lately, put it down to getting older at first (43) then the other day i picked up a pharmacist in my job as a taxi driver and we got to talking about medication, he said it could be the simvastatin causing these problems and that there is a drug to countreact this, anyone else come across this?
Along with the Simvastatin i also take metformin, one tablet per day.

Hi Jeff

Simvastatin gave me really nasty pains in my legs. I have been changed to Atorvastatin and don't get the pain anymore.

Funny you should say that, along with the muscle ache ive had stabbing pains in my outer thighs!
Time to make an appointment methinks!
