Hello fellow friends,
I have been diabetic since 2017, I am type 2. I have been insulin independent since 2020. I have been struggling to regulate my sugar levels. I have the libra 2 which has help massively manage the sugar reading. However the doctor wanted me to use the dexcom one.... I have found the dexcom one to have a massive different in the reading compare to the libra and I was hoping someone else has had the same issue or has some advice for me.

luv M.

Welcome @munchkin90 🙂 Are you checking the Dexcom readings with a fingerprick test? That’s the only real way to judge its accuracy. Same with the Libre 2.

Welcome to the forum @munchkin90

Dexcom One and Libre are both well respected CGM with solid accuracy data. But different sensors do suit some individuals better than others, so it may just be that your body chemistry suits Libre?

When comparing sensors, and comparing sensors to fingerstick readings it’s always worth bearing in mind that fingerstick checks and sensors are reading very different things (capillary blood vs interstitial fluid) so differences between the two readings are very likely, and almost inevitable!

There’s a post here which discusses things to bear in mind:
