Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
In the last week I have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. I need some help please, I need to know what I can have as snacks / munchies between meals and say when watching a movie.
I also have Depression and in the past turned to comfort foods to try help me feel better. I need to know what foods to choose and I would like to be able to choose something sweet too to satisfy cravings. I don't want it all to be carrot sticks, celery sticks and cucumber. Please help me, thank you in advance, Jason

Thanks Susan for replying, so sorry to read your circumstances. You have must deepest sympathies for what you must have been through. I will look through food sections. I have also booked to go on a course called Ester which I hope will lead me on the right path too. I hope that you have a pleasant evening. I have to go now, my tea is now done.

Hello Jason and welcome to the forum. 🙂 I hope you enjoyed tea.

Hi Jason. Some people find a square or two of 85% chocolate ok but it depends whether you like it or not.

Just to say Thank You to all who took the time and trouble to reply to my posting. Hope you all have a pleasant weekend. Jase
