Sun newspaper is reporting this morning that Parents who children fall ill from the covid virus are finding that there is a refusal for their children to get tested.

i do know this to be true as i had a lass here who's child fell ill and she was pleading with 111 to get her child tested. there was outright refusal to test the child.

in the end antibiotics were issued but apart that was it.

Interesting. Like you, I live in Lancashire. A friend of my daughter went with her young child to the drive in centre in Preston for testing. Both were done without any bother, apart from her daughter resenting the swabbing.

True, Sally. But they will prevent or treat any secondary infection like pneumonia, which is a potentially fatal consequence.
