TWO Newport mums have once again hit the fundraising trail for a children’s diabetes charity.
An entertainment evening last year in aid of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) – organised by Vicki Allcock and Vicki Daunter – raised £3,500.
They hope to top that total next month when they stage an event billed as A Night of Legends at the Parkway Hotel and Spa in Cwmbran, on Saturday, April 11.
The event will feature Tom Jones tribute act Robb Dee, Tanya Taylor as Madonna, and Laura Lee Crane as Amy Winehouse, supported by DJ Dave Bayley, and compered by Kieron May.
