TWO youngsters coping with type one diabetes have inspired four women to undertake an arduous challenge to raise money.
The motivated mums are cycling from London to Paris on June 20 to raise money to combat the condition.
Ruth Norman, Lynnette Moe, Corinne Barnes, Marita Saffery, all from Dormansland, bonded outside the gates of Dormansland Primary School more than ten years ago when their children started at the school.
But Marita and Lynette found they had something else in common, when both of their youngest children had type one diabetes diagnosed within weeks of each other.
Next month they will begin a gruelling four day cycle-challenge to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, based in London.
