A MUM whose daughter was diagnosed with Diabetes aged just four has told how her family's life was thrown into chaos when the news came.
Ursula Baxter, of Dedmere Road, Marlow, said she was bombarded with terrible thoughts, including that Christina, her eldest child, now seven, would die young.
But as a major awareness campaign gets underway today, she has reassured other mums going through the same thing that it is possible to adapt.
Christan, a pupil at St Peter's Catholic Primary School, in Marlow, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was four.

Hmm...I see they state categorically that a virus is the cause of Type 1, when in fact no-one really knows the cause...
