We have decided to move to Derby. Lots more job opportunity for my other son plus a new hospital and much better health facilities than rural Lincolnshire. Hope we are right but my youngest son, a type 1, who is a resident of Derby says we are. Any members live in Derby?

Hope all goes well with the move and that you get good care where you are going 🙂

My thoughts too Northie. Hope it goes well @Austin Mini and that any stress doesn't mess with your BGs too much.

Lincolnshire isn't generally brilliant, hospital-wise. Bro and sis in law live in Skeg - John says one of his neighbours gets ambulanced to Leicester hosp 3x a week for his dialysis. Many ambulance (blue light and other) trips both to Leics and Derby whether it's kidneys. heart attacks, seizures and traumas of any kind ..... He's on long-term Warfarin and it took him several years to get a regular slot at their local hosp for that ...... he had hoped that when he retired and his lifestyle became more regular his blood tests would also gain at least some stability, but sadly that isn't the case.

All the best for your move.
