I was diagnostics with T2 about 4 month ago, started taking metformin which made me very ill, the doctor then gave me the slow release metformin, this didn’t make me as ill but I did have accidents whilst out due to this, after been given the information to read by the doctor on Mounjaro, I started on this 10 weeks ago, I took the .25mg for 4 weeks them .05mg, which I am still taking. I also joined Slimming World to ensure I ate healthy meals. Initially I had a slight headache for 2 days, otherwise constipation is all I have to deal with which is quite easily dealt with. To date I have lost 1st 12 lb, I am very happy with this. I have my 1st blood test on 21st January and looking forward to seeing how this has helped me. I am quite happy on the .05mg and I am eating a lot less, for breakfast I have berries, natural yoghurt with a weetabix crushed on top, lunch is either a salad or soup, tea is normally chicken with veg, as per lots of people, I now eat from a tea plate. If we go out for a meal I tend to have a starter for my main course. Even over Xmas and New Year I didn’t loose weight but I didn’t put an ounce on either. Good luck to anyone who can get this prescribed as it is brilliant for me.

Hi I’m back again with weight piled on and out of remission! I’m afraid to try weight loss drugs because I’m on so many other drugs. I’ve just finished two weeks steroids because of bad flu and asthma. I’m allergic to flu vaccine! I am looking forward to getting my weight down again now that I’m getting better from the recent illness. If I took a tea plate I’d go back for more but it’s a good idea. It’s great you’re doing so well. I was shocked! I had a Sunday hairdressing appointment and thought good my dress is comfortable. When I seen myself in the hairdressers mirror it never spared me. A huge stomach and all visceral fat. Most above my waist, no doubt my non alcoholic fatty liver disease! At least I’m not kidding myself on . I took a reading after 2 hours today and it was 9 not too bad but better if it was lower. Here’s back to weight loss! Doing it myself this time.
