Mounjaro Monday - Week 26 update

Hello,

You may recall that last week the Fluctuation Fairy had been meddling with the scales. Well, she still is. On 10th July I had managed to drop a couple of lbs. But I have been weighing about a pound and a half heavier at the moment. Ho hum. I know it’s temporary - just annoying.

Exercise this week has been poor indeed. Firstly, the heat has been too much for me, and I have also experienced a bit of a flare up with my back - my anterior pelvic tilt. I suspect this is from prolonged hour of desk work, but none the less it has been quite unpleasant. So, I’m afraid I’ve skipped the gym and long walks this week. I just can’t face it in the blazing heat.
I aim to go back to the gym tomorrow.

Mounjaro symptoms wise - nothing to report at all.

All in all, a bit of a ‘meh’ week - but I’m sure things will right themselves soon enough.

Have a good week, all.

K x

SW: 23st 2lbs (18/11/24)
CW: 17st 3.8lbs (but more like 17st 5 thanks to the Fluctuation Fairy)
Total loss: 5st 12.2lbs
Total loss since starting Mounjaro on 13/01/25: 4st 2.2lbs.

Hardly surprising exercise and activity had to take a bit of a back seat @Katetype2

I think most of the UK just hid indoors waiting for it all to be over!

Good news that Mounjaro symptoms are still “nothing to report”

Sorry to hear your week was meh!
I didn't enjoy the very hot weather either. It just saps your energy. I hope your back is feeling better soon. You have achieved such a lot in the last 6 months. Put this last week behind you and look forward to getting back to your gym routine and enjoying your long walks as soon you feel up to it.

My weight seems to have plateaued at the moment but I'm not planning my meals well at the moment. The heat drains the energy from me. I had a language class at 10 and made an effort to go for a swim beforehand. I am so impressed with your gym work. I know I must do some work even if it's just plunges and squats. I've definitely got flabby thighs. I always read your posts on a Monday I like the way they always ooze with positivity even where you may be disappointed with appearing to stand still.
You will be starting winter a happy shadow of your former self.
